WHAT WEALTH REPRESENTS
Wealth is an abstract score that reflects:
-
Income
-
Savings
-
Credit
-
Assets
-
Social and institutional access
It is not liquid cash. It’s your ability to acquire things without stress.
Your Wealth score typically ranges from 0 to 20+.
starting wealth
Step 1: Rolling for Start
Roll 2d4, this is your base Wealth.
Step 2: Ability Modifier
Add your Charisma modifier to your starting Wealth.
-
High Charisma reflects negotiation, reputation, and credit
-
Negative Charisma hurts your access to capital
Minimum starting Wealth is 4, even if penalties apply.
Step 3: Background
Add your Background Wealth Bonus.
Example
Rolled 2d4= 5
Charisma of 15= +2
Student= +1
Staring Wealth = 8

Instead of prices, items have a Purchase Difficulty (PD).

making a purchase
When buying an item:
Roll: 1d20 + Wealth
-
If result ≥ PD → you acquire it
-
If result < PD → you can’t get it right now
Easy Purchases
If your Wealth ≥ PD + 5, you automatically succeed.
gaining wealth
Wealth increases slowly, on purpose.
You gain Wealth from:
